Altair OptiStruct has been the leading generative design tool for over two decades. Not only does it enable the optimization of topology, composites, mechanisms and additive manufacturing, but it is a modern solver for all of your linear and non-linear structural analysis. Regardless of how your product is produced OptiStruct can enhance creativity by proposing forms that are as manufacturable as they are efficient and innovative. The OptiStruct 2019 solver runs faster than ever on CPUs or NVIDIA GPUs to more efficiently simulate product strength, stiffness, durability, large displacements, vibration, acoustic and heat transfer, with built-in Multiphysics capability.

HyperMesh 2019 creates the best meshes yet for more accurate simulations and enables easier modeling of complex castings and injection molded parts. The model build and assembly tools enable CAE to keep pace with design through rapid part and assembly swapping with management of multiple configurations.

Altair SimLab is an intuitive and easy to learn workflow platform for simulating multiphysics problems. It allows engineers and designers to progress from CAD geometry to complex analysis in minutes with process automation for increased productivity.

Enhanced user experience

Your designers, engineers and CAE specialists can now work within a single intuitive and consistent user-experience. With each release of the HyperWorks more workflows employ this same user experience.

In this release HyperWorks X is included with a new set of workflows for geometry creation, editing, morphing and meshing employing this same user experience. Both the new and established HyperWorks desktop experiences will be available with no loss of existing functionality, allowing customers to transition on their own timeline.

The easy-to-learn mesh morphing features of HyperWorks X will bring efficiency to teams working on simulation models early in product development. These workflows enable concept level changes to be made directly on an existing FEA model bypassing CAD generation and accelerating decision making.

New Tools for both experts and part-time analysts

Altair SimSolid makes designers and engineers more productive by performing structural analysis on original, un-simplified CAD assemblies in seconds to minutes. It provides easy structural simulation for large assemblies and complex geometries with accurate results produced with revolutionary speed.

Altair HyperLife enables customers to quickly understand potential durability issues through an easy-to-learn solution for fatigue life under static and transient loading. This is a guided solver-neutral workflow for a wide range of industrial applications and works with major FEA tools.
