This workshop is for people who want to develop a solid understanding of the capabilities of the Kafka low latency, high throughput platform and understand to make full use of those capabilities to monitor and analyse real-time operational data. Our focus will be on analysis of real-time electronic trading data for equities, fixed income, and foreign exchange, but the principles described apply to any industry that requires timely responses to anomalies and outliers in massive amounts of streaming data.
Our experts will provide an introduction to visual analysis of complex trading activity streams using historic, intra-day and real-time streaming data managed by Kafka. By the end of the day, you will understand how to configure and connect to Kafka streams and build your own unique Streaming Analytics user interfaces focused on a variety of common use cases.
We will provide all participants with a laptop to use during the workshop, demo licenses and software they can use after the workshop to further develop their skills.
