The solidThinking® team recently rolled out a new and exciting opportunity for students called the Inspire “U” Campus Ambassador Program. This program is designed to give students in the United States an opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial spirit by working toward goals that are structured to encourage fellow design and engineering students to download and use solidThinking Inspire®.
solidThinking Inspire enables design engineers, product designers, and architects to create and investigate structurally efficient concepts quickly and easily. Traditional structural simulations allow engineers to check if a design will support the required loads. Inspire enhances this process by generating a new material layout within a package space using the loads as an input. The software is easy to learn and works with existing CAD tools to help design structural parts right the first time, reducing costs, development time, material consumption, and product weight.
Goals don’t often come without rewards. Based on defined measures of success, the Inspire Ambassadors will be awarded a variety of prizes and opportunities. Prizes include free software training up to and including an official solidThinking Inspire certification, a 3-year free license of Inspire, and gift cards. Winners may even be offered an internship at the Altair World Headquarters in Troy, Michigan. We will recruit ambassadors through March 31, 2014 and begin the training process over the subsequent months. The official kickoff will occur at the beginning of the 2014-2015 school year.
