GREENoble pushes e-mobility limits

Toyota i-Roads, the Ultra-compact, tandem two-seater electric vehicle will soon be rolling on Grenoble’s streets.

On March 11 2014, the results of “iCapitale” (competition for the European capital of innovation launched by the European Commission in September 2013) were published. Grenoble was selected as the second most innovative city in Europe behind Barcelona.

We have been pleased to discover that thanks to the Cité Lib (local car-sharing operator); Toyota is providing 70 EVs that can be rented for short periods of time. Users can park at any of 27 charging stations in the Grenoble area, each station is positioned near a tram, bus or train station.

These vehicles are easy to drive, easy to park and good for the environment.

As CEDRAT is located in Grenoble area, we are even more excited about this news!
Time to market, cost effective solutions, efficient and reliable design, are some of the challenges for automakers and their suppliers. Complementary to its simulation software, CEDRAT has an expert application team which works closely with you by offering efficient assistance with the different approaches of working on the right models to help make this complexity simple, realistic and accurate.

We embrace all « green» technologies and support the Toyota-Grenoble program.
We can’t wait to test-drive it!
