EMSS and FEKO have been involved in the APCAP conference since its inauguration in 2012. This year Altair is sponsoring the 4th IEEE Asia-Pacific Conference on Antennas and Propagation on Bali Island, Indonesia. Taking place this week, the conference invites experts and professionals from around the world and provides an international forum to exchange and collaborate on topics related to antenna technology, propagation, and electromagnetic theory.
The conference agenda is packed with valuable presentations, lectures, special courses, workshops, and exhibitions. Johan Huysamen, Senior Technical Specialist of EM Solutions at Altair, will be leading a workshop on June 30th entitled “Characteristic Mode Analysis (CMA) for Antenna Design, Placement and Radiation Investigations Using FEKO.” Topics will include an overview of FEKO, theory of Characteristic Mode Analysis, demonstrations, and discussions.
Altair acquired FEKO in 2014, which adds the FEKO® solver to the HyperWorks® suite and strengthens the Altair simulation offering in the aerospace, automotive, and shipbuilding industries in particular, reflecting the commitment of the company to provide comprehensive, best-of-breed solutions to its customers. FEKO is a comprehensive computational electromagnetics (CEM) code, which offers several EM field solvers under a single license.
