Featured Event: 2015 HPC & OSL TES in Grenoble, France

Altair will sponsor the 2015 High Performance Computing Open Source & Linux Technical Excellence Symposium (HPC & OSL TES) in Grenoble, France this week. This symposium is a technical knowledge transfer event for the HPC and OSL communities with over 100 breakout sessions including labs and demos.

Scott Suchyta, Director of Partner Solutions and Integration at Altair, will deliver a 50-minute presentation entitled “New Horizons in HPC Workload Management” on March 25th at 11:30AM. Focusing on the PBS Works™ suite and its capabilities for HPC, he will include a preview of the 2015 release of PBS Professional® 13.0. Customer success stories will be profiled, as will an overview of PBS readiness for the cloud.

In the context of using GPUs for HPC, NVIDIA will discuss HyperWorks Unlimited™ – Virtual, Altair’s unique cloud appliance. Additionally, a representative from the Altair RADIOSS® development team will participate in the HP Moonshot session to discuss performance results to date.

After receiving an MSc degree in computer science, Eric started his career in 1994 at CNRS, Laboratoire Informatique du Parallélisme. He joined Mecalog in 1994 and worked for this company until its acquisition by Altair in 2006. Eric holds an Executive MBA from HEC French business school obtained in 2007.
