Featured Video: Introduction to solidThinking Inspire®

solidThinking Inspire enables design engineers, product designers, and architects to create and investigate structurally efficient concepts quickly and easily. Traditional structural simulations allow engineers to check if a design will support the required loads. solidThinking Inspire enhances this process by generating a new material layout within a package space using the loads as an input. The software is easy to learn and works with existing CAD tools to help design structural parts right the first time, reducing costs, development time, material consumption, and product weight.

To learn about the software and how it works you may view Introduction to solidThinking Inspire. The course will take you through the basics of the interface and show you how to use various tools.  Follow the modules for a guided set of exercises, culminating with the capstone project. Follow each classified step in the capstone to complete your mission of building a lightweight aircraft door hinge model.  After completing this course, you can apply the skills learned to your projects!
