Nominations now open for the 2014 Altair Enlighten Award

Altair today announced it is now accepting nominations for the 2014 Enlighten Award, the automotive industry’s sole award program dedicated to innovation in vehicle lightweighting. Entering its second year, the annual award will be presented in collaboration with the Center for Automotive Research (CAR) at the 2014 CAR Management Briefing Seminars in Traverse City, Mich., August 4-7.

Research and Markets Report highlights Altair as a dominant player in the Chinese CAE Market

The analysts forecast the CAE market in China to grow at a CAGR of 14.5 percent over the period 2012-2016. One of the key factors contributing to this market growth is the increasing need to reduce the time to market. The CAE market in China has also been witnessing an increasing adoption of integrated CAE software. However, the growing threat from open source CAE software could pose a challenge to the growth of this market.
