Altair Showcases Simulation-Driven Design at China PLM 2014

The China Manufacturing Product Innovation Summit (PLM 2014), hosted by e-works, a well-known on-line communications platform focused on IT applications in manufacturing, was successfully held in Shenyang, China, November 27-28, 2014.

PLM 2014 attracted more than 600 attendees from various industries. Altair delivered a keynote entitled Simulation-Driven Design, introducing Altair HyperWorks® and solidThinking®. Many visitors were interested in Altair solutions, especially solidThinking Inspire®, which is easy to learn and works well with existing computer-aided design tools to help design structural parts right the first time while reducing costs, development time, material consumption, and product weight.

The summit was certainly an impressive event, and a great platform to interact with experts and professionals in the manufacturing industry. We look forward to attending next year!
