Altair South Africa Launches HyperWorks and Inspire at SA Industry & Technology Fair 2015

The Altair South Africa team exhibited at INDUTEC – The SA Industry & Technology Fair 2015, in Johannesburg, May 20th to May 22nd. The platform was used to launch Altair HyperWorks and solidThinking Inspire to the South African market.

INDUTEC is a large synergistic collection of twelve unique events targeting companies operating in the engineering, technology, manufacturing and energy verticals. Afrimold was one of the events in INDUTEC that showcased design, precision engineering and machining, tooling, and production. It was an ideal opportunity to introduce and announce Altair’s presence to the South African market and many other Afrimold exhibitors.

Altair was excited to meet the Resolution Circle’s engineering team from the The University of Johannesburg, who offers research and design services as well as prototyping facilities to local inventors and entrepreneurs. productONE, the first channel partner announced for solidThinking in South Africa, also joined Altair in the booth to show support. productONE are industry experts in Product Development, Product Lifecycle Management, and Service Lifecycle Management with a specific focus on aligning business processes with customer’s high level business strategies so as to deliver exceptional value.

About Gronum Smith

Gronum co-founded EM Software & Systems in 1994. In 2000, after several years of consulting in the field of antennas, antenna placement and EM simulations, he dedicated his time to global marketing and business development for FEKO. Since becoming part of Altair in 2014, he is the Country Manager for South Africa and Electromagnetics Marketing Director. Gronum holds a PhD in Electronic Engineering (Electromagnetics) from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa.
