The 8th European Altair Technology Conference took place in Paris this year from September 29th to October 1st. It was a remarkable event featuring over 100 impressive keynote and technical presentations and bringing together 650 engineers and simulation experts from all over the world. Attendees and presenters discussed trends and shared news on a wide variety of simulation and development topics.
Altair has now made many of the presentations available online, some has videos and some in the form of presentation slides. In addition to the presentations, photos are also available that give further perspective into the exciting atmosphere of the conference.
Many different aspects of simulation driven innovation were covered at the European ATC. There were many impressive keynote presentations from renowned global companies such as Jaguar Land Rover, Hyundai, Alstom, Rolo Bikes, CEVT, Airbus Helicopters, Arup and Thyssen Krupp Elevators, as well as Ford, STELIA Aerospace, Plastic Omnium, PSA Peugeot Citroën, RUAG Space, Renault Nissan, and Volvo Car.
Technical presentations addressed cross industry topics such as additive manufacturing, lead time reduction and high frequency electromagnetics, composites, architecture, NVH, CFD, durability, powertrain simulation, and multiphysics. There were also industry specific subjects for branches such as railway, automotive, and aerospace industries.
