Featured Event: 2014 Taiwan ATCx in Taipei

A regional Altair Technology Conference (ATC) series event, or ATCx, is scheduled to take place at the GIS NTU Convention Center in Taipei, Taiwan July 31, 2014. Entitled Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) Drives Design, the event will focus on how the use of simulation benefits the product design and development process, providing better solutions for customers. Altair has nearly 150 users in Taiwan, hailing from multiple industries and well-known research institutions. CAE technical expert Sangkook Kim of LG will deliver a keynote and provide an opportunity for attendees to discuss technology-related topics. A collection of Altair Taiwan customer case studies will be profiled. In addition, optional training workshops on optimization and process automation will be offered on August 1, 2014 at the UCOM Information Technology Education Center.

About Molly Heskitt

As Senior Director of Business Development for Altair, Molly has global responsibility for the electronics and maritime industries. She works with global electronics and maritime companies and industry experts and organizations to help align the company’s advanced technologies to address industries-specific challenges, with the goal of making Altair’s customers the most competitive. Prior to joining Altair, Molly was an Associate Professor in China, where she conducted research and taught courses with a heavy emphasis on product design and manufacturing engineering. She joined Altair in 2000 and held various engineering roles prior to assuming her current position. Molly holds a Master of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Jilin University in China, and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University in Michigan, USA.
